Pollination Curriculum Project

Many of the people involved in the Pollination Conservation Society are professional educators.  We naturally lean toward education as the best way to create a grassroots movement to protect pollinators.  The goal of this project is to create a formal curriculum for classroom teachers to use to augment their science program.  The project will feature a multilevel approach with key focus on particular grade levels as appropriate according to the guidelines provided the state public education agencies.  Each grade level curriculum will be made up of project based units designed to highlight pollinator benefits and/or issues.  Particular emphasis will be placed on projects that offer hands-on exploratory opportunities for both groups and individual to expand their understanding of pollinators and environmental systems.
